God wants us to be happy. Stop, take a deep breath, close your eyes, and listen quietly. He whispers words of  comfort. Open you eyes and truly look around. He has created the wonders of the world for all! Take comfort in knowing the Creator knows every detail of His creation, all our needs, wants and desires. Thanks be to God, Amen.

It is time to return to prayer. True meaningful prayer. Prayer for those we love is easy. Let us pray for all. It is harder to pray for those who hurt us. But who needs the Lord’s mercy more those who help others or those who hurt others. The Lord is willing to be merciful are we? Therefore those who hurt us need our prayers. When you pray for those you love say a prayer for those you do not. Lord please help me to learn to pray for all so that I may be worthy of your Divine Mercy.

Often we limit ourselves in the comfort of our daily lives. We become content in our lives to the point where we forget to be thankful for what we have. When a life change occurs we seek comfort in our Lord and He is there with open arms. Let us remember to hold our arms open to our Lord during the comfort days when we are limiting ourselves. We limit ourselves from sharing the joy of having daily conversations with our Lord and walking with Him in peace and love. Thank you Jesus for being my daily, yes constant, companion. Love you!

Am I afraid to hear what my Lord may ask of me? Is that why I pray unendingly in petition and thankfulness but not in silence? Oh but when the Lord does speak what a feeling of being loved and cherished. I hear the words “Let me heal you.”.

When asked to say a prayer for someone and you agree – take a moment right then to talk to God. Why do we wait? Why do we put got on hold?

I pray not for sunshine but for Light. I pray not for warmth but for Love. My the Lord bring those in the dark into His LIght and Love so they may once again feel the sunshine and warmth given to us by God. All is never lost. Hope is always holding us in the palm of His hand!

We are reminded to have our vehicles inspected yearly by a sticker on the wind shield. Sometimes an observant gas attendant reminds us our inspection is soon to expire. The yearly inspection is to keep only serviceable vehicles on the road. (Have you ever seen a vehicle on the road and wonder how it made it through inspection?) Our Soul requires Daily Inspection to enable us serve others. Our Soul is more complex than a car or truck.  Our Soul battles good and evil each day. We need to inspect the State of our Soul Daily to keep us on the road to Our Lord. Maybe we should have a reminder like the Inspection Sticker. Oh wait, we do, it is the Cross.
